Two phase bipolar (PWM Technology) this board doesn't need any external resistor for current motor adjustment.
Resolution (Full step, 1/2 step, 1/4 step, 1/16 step) selectable via dip switch for each axis, also, you can get a resolution of 3200 steps per 360º revolution with a conventional 200 steps motor, ¡Imagine the fine movement that you will get!
It can move 1.2A to 10A bipolar (4 to 8 leads), unipolar (6 leads) stepper motors
10Amps. as maximum capacity per axis
Mounted in an aluminium clamping plate, you can screw it in a big heat sink if you are using large stepper motors
For stepper motors large than 3.5A extra heat sink and fan is required
IDLE indicator, when the driver doesn't receive any control signal, it decrease the current to 40% of the selected, it helps to avoid motor's overheating when it doesn't turn
Individual axis enable/disable, via optocoupler input terminal (can be used as limit switch)
12 Adjustable levels stepper motor current via DIP switch on board
DB25 MALE connector on board for PC parallel port
All inputs signals are optocoupled for PC parallel port protection
Full access to all unused DB25 pins connector via terminal block, easy connection for prototyping work
24VDC to 48VDC Power supply required, 24VDC as minimum, 48VCD as maximum
4 Wire, 6 Wire and 8 Wire (NEMA 17, NEMA 23, NEMA 34 and NEMA 42) Bipolar or Unipolar stepper motors can be used with 3 axis drive
Fuse integrated for electrical protection
